This page explains what A11yKeeper collects when you use this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Website addresses you scan and the results of the automated checks, so we can show you the results page and report.
- A one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit free scans to 3 per day. We don't store the IP address itself.
- Your email and agency name, if you ask for the full report.
- Application details (name, company, website, number of client sites, email) if you apply as a founding agency.
How we use it
- To run scans and show you the results.
- To reply to you when you ask for the report or apply as a founding agency.
- We don't send marketing emails today. If that ever changes, we'll ask first and every email will have an unsubscribe link.
- To prevent abuse of the free scanner.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising trackers.
Scanning other websites
When you scan a site, our scanner visits its public pages like a regular browser and identifies itself as "A11yKeeperBot". We don't log in, submit forms or collect personal data from the pages we check.
Who processes data for us
Scan results, emails and applications are stored with Vercel (hosting and storage), in the United States. They process data only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Scan results, emails and applications are kept for up to 12 months. Rate-limit records are reset daily. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@a11ykeeper.com. If you're in the EU, UK or California you have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
Cookies
This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
